🎩🎩🎩 Drill/Place file origin in KiCAD
There can be a discussion around this point. After a while, when learning how to use FreeCAD for KiCAD STEP model customisation, I found the Drill/Place file origin needed to be set.
The default Drill/Place file origin location is the top left corner of the PCB drawing sheet.
To make the work with the exported 3D model easier, the Drill/Place file origin needs to be set. I recommend the bottom left corner of the PCB if possible. The centre of the board otherwise.

🎩🎩🎩 Změna počátku souřadnic vrtáku a osazovacího stroje v KiCADu
Okolo tohoto tipu může být asi delší diskuze. Po chvíli učení se s FreeCADem a využitím 3D STEP modelů z KiCAD jsem zjistil, že počátek souřadnic musím přenastavit.
Výchozí polohou je levý horní roh výkresu s deskou plošných spojů.
Abych si ulehčil práci na exportovaném modelu, přenastavuji počátek souřadnic vrtačky. Doporučuji levý spodní roh desky plošných spojů. Pokud má roh. Jinak střed desky.
